What the Codex Tracks

The Pathogenic codex is a permanent collection log for organelles, mutations, enemies, and challenge entries unlocked across your account. Picking up a part once, defeating a new elite, or clearing a secret branch adds entries with full tooltip text—critical after the pre-launch tooltip rewrite that renamed Attack Modifiers to Attack Infusers and clarified trait conditions.

Discovery is account-wide, not per pathogen. Switching from Bacteria to Amoeba after a Heart clear still shows every blueprint you have seen. The codex therefore acts as a build planner reference when shopping or rerolling on dailies with random weapon starts.

Secret level first clears award large codex bundles alongside plasmid fragments and cosmetic unlocks. Repeat clears focus on score and challenge compatibility rather than new entries.

Using Codex for Daily and Challenge Runs
