Multi-hit melee focuses on Update 4 weapons that reward sustained contact and combo timing instead of burst Secretor volleys. Tri-Phase Tendril provides single-target burst on the third swing while Gyrase Wheel handles density during stamina windows. Pyroflagellum adds dodge-trail burn for Lung and Heart add control.
Helminth and Bacteria slot layouts fit reach and combo arcs. Phagocytosis challenge mode is the natural home for this archetype, but standard runs benefit when Intestine villi force close combat after snares. Pair two Mitochondria minimum before stacking luxury melee traits.
Core Organelles and Order
Early Skin: one Mitochondria, any Spike or Tendril placeholder until Tri-Phase drops. Intestine shop: second Mitochondria and Gyrase if offered. Pre-Stomach: Pyroflagellum or extended dodge Flagella for hazard zones. Liver onward: Traits boosting stamina regen, combo damage, or on-hit burn.
Avoid mounting five melee weapons without energy support—Gyrase stamina drain punishes greedy layouts. Ruptosome can hybridize if elites clump outside melee reach, but do not dilute Overcharge clusters for one shrapnel slot unless daily modifiers ban ranged entirely.
